Authors Tony Nourmand and Graham Marsh have recently released Hollywood and the Ivy Look, a full color, 286-page pictorial book that celebrates the time when Hollywood’s leading men of the ’50s and ’60s made Ivy League style their own. Could it be considered the ultimate depiction of nerd/prep chic? Maybe, considering few men of cultural importance rocked the skinny tie better than Woody Allen or Sydney Poitier could.
