Dagon James is a New York based archivist, editor and curator who has worked with artists such as Sam Haskins, Klaus Voormann, Ross Halfin, Mick Rock, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Gered Mankowitz, Kate Simon and Gerard Malanga among others.

His books include Unseen McQueen by Barry Feinsten, Woodstock, where he collaborated with Baron Wolman, Michael Lang & Carlos Santana. His upcoming projects include the book from Harper Collins of Joe Eula’s fashion illustrations with Cathy Horyn, Billy Name’s photographs from Andy Warhol’s 1960’s Factory in Silver Age, and the career retrospective of San Francisco photographer Michael Zagaris.

Dagon is the founder and publisher of Lid Magazine and fine art imprint The Waverly Press, publisher of limited edition books and prints and works with museums and galleries worldwide.
